From 1998, the HIMA has won in succession the merger and acquisition for HUBEI SHENFENG-JINYING MOTORCYCLE CORPORATION & SICHUAN (DEYANG) GENERAL AUTOMOTIVE CORPORATION.

In trade side, acquired the import-export operation right joint-permitted by the Tibet government, the State Planning Commission and the State Administration for Industry & Commerce, and setup five auto-trade co***nies engaged in domestic and import car in Lasa, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Dalian. In industrial side, build production base in Yingcheng(Hubei) and Deyang(Sichuan) city, assembling and selling motorcycle. In estate side, establish specialized construction co***ny developing the real-estate business. In 2003, the HIMA gained the unprecedented achievement of annual sales volume amounts to RMB2.5 billion, among which the foreign trade to 0.1 billion dollars, domestic to RMB1.6 billion, which percentage of auto sale rank 3% of nationwide total quantity.
